Kairi sat on the beach and listened to everything around her intently. "Who sits watching me from behind? Come now curiosity is nothing to be ashamed of." She got up and glanced around only to sit again and meditate. "You'll come out eventually..."

Dyani chuckled, coming out of the Moonlight, "Upi Na'Telna Sor'xuin." She greeted the girl in the formal Magi-Warrior way, with her hand turned upright over her stomach, and then she giggled, saying, "You saw past my cloak."

She turned slowly and nodded. "It's easy to know when someone doesn't want to be seen. You were easy to hear but all you worried about was sight, not sound." She got up and smiled slightly. "Kairi Sleetrunner. Don't know if I remember you or not. I've seen a great many people, living and dead, but never someone similar to you. You have an element I assume?"

Dyani nodded, a ball of Moonlight appearing around her, as her Eyes glowed, "I am of the Hawk Tribe of the M'Laniri." She pointed at the Diamond under them, and said, "I only came to get a new Diamond for my cloak clasp." She held up the cloak that she had been holding around her shoulders, and said, "It broke during Training." She pointed at her bare arms, and said, "I have not gone through the Rite yet."

"Well I wish you luck when you do go through it." She had her own silver-gray markings totally covering her body and a purple scar on her shoulder from some sort of accident, somehow she couldn't remember exactly what caused it. Being numb for three days must've done it. "I spent my Rite in the snow." she laughed. "I'm a spirit element."

Dyani pointed at the water, "I have to do it right here, up to my waist in water, with no garments on, not even my mask." She sighed, looking at the girls beautiful markings, and saying, "For now, I just do what I am told, but my mom is the Tribe High Priestess... So, she kinda don't like me being a Magi-Warrior in training."

"Consider yourself lucky you have family that loves you." she replied with a smile. "All I have are the spirits of the past. I'm glad for them but I do miss my own family. My brother was here until I was sixteen and before that no record of parents at all. I'm not training to be anything really I just kinda wander along the path of life to see where it leads me."

Dyani smiled, liking the girl already. She looked down, and said, "Thorun'sa, Saelir Nortal Haenlid." After which, a Diamond, already the shape to clasp her cloak together, went, and fused itself to her cloak.
She smiled, putting the cloak on, and saying, "I said my element was moonlight, what I didn't say was that I could control anything non-organic that was under the glow of the moon. And Diamond is the greatest receptacle for moonlight." She grinned, lifting many large pieces of Moonlit Diamond.

She grinned. "I'm not near as good at controlling things. My one absolute strength is knowledge of the human psyche. I know all about how people think and how their mind's work. It's creepy, but it's an advantage." she said shrugging.

Dyani smiled, putting shields around her mind, just in case, and saying, "Yes, well, don't try that trick on me, I would not take kindly to it." She smiled, her purple eyes dancing.

"Oh it's not a mind reading sort of thing! It's inherent based on behavior. Judging from the way your body tensed up you thought I could read your mind. No but I wish I could on occasion, but that would be prying and not the best way to make friends. I'm not one for fights really." She rubbed her shoulder and looked at the moon with a grin. "Well Dyani care to walk for a bit?"

Dyani nodded, her Eyes glowing a light pink, like the start of a Blood moon, but happier, "Sure!" She said, in what sounded like a normal Teenage Girls voice, and not the voice of a Magi-Warrior in Training.

"I was...never much cut out for being a warrior or a priestess. Neither seemed to fit me well at any stage of my life. I just amble about hoping one day I'll find my place here." She touched the mark on her left hand and smiled, the symbol for peace. "From what I've heard spirit elementals are not known for fighting or bloodshed."

Dyani looked at the ground, her eyes taking on the Blue of a Blue moon, as she said, "I am technically supposed to be a priestess... My mom was a moon element, and she is High Priestess of the Village... But... I dunno, I just can't sit there and pray everyday." She lifted the palm of her hand, showing the same mark on her palm, that the girl had on her left hand, "I was born with this one."

"Symbol for peace. You go against a birthmark becoming a warrior. Rebellion in those young enough not to have gone through the Rite is common, and you seek a haven from the ceaseless religious practices of your family. Surely somewhere in you is the need to break tradition and be your own person." she said softly.
